Introduction to Political Powers and Structures
Democracy
|
Political Structures (Systems) is a set of legal
institutions that constitute a “government” or a “state.” A political system
defines the behavior and functions of all institutions within its territory.
The definition extends beyond legal institutions and in to social and economic
affairs as well. It describes processes within each subsystems and the
processes in between all of the subsystems. Most of those are designed to provide protection from foreign invasion and to protect citizens from each other.
